Last Wednesday, May 14th, we had the pleasure of hosting an engaging and educational evening for dental hygienists from the Weber and Davis County areas. The event brought together local professionals for a night of learning, laughter, and connection—all centered around the vital role hygienists play in identifying periodontal issues and facilitating timely referrals.
We were honored to welcome two incredible guest speakers: Dr. Reve Chaston and Dr. Johnson, both respected periodontists in our community. They delivered informative presentations featuring real-life case studies and examples that helped hygienists better understand the signs of periodontal disease and when a referral to a periodontist is recommended. Their insights provided practical takeaways that attendees can immediately apply in their daily patient care.
In addition to the educational content, we made sure to keep the atmosphere light and enjoyable. A delicious meal was catered for all our guests, and we enjoyed fun games, a lively Q&A session, and great conversations throughout the evening. It was a wonderful opportunity not only to learn but also to strengthen relationships within our local dental community.
